Updates from the Land of Kinsey

I've been pretty busy in my own Kinsey-ways.

Lately I've been apartment shopping. We did manage to get out of February with only two more plumbing problems. (Bringing us in at an even dozen for the year.) I'm sick this week so that's not much fun. Big, old, nasty head cold. I just hope it's not strep like my roommate.

I've been doing lots of homework since it's midterms. I did get my major project back today with a perfect score so that was awesome. (Unfortunately it's a little too big to hang on the fridge.) Kiyna should understand this: Write ten 57 minute lesson plans and be sure to use five different writing pedagogues. Write a one page explanation for each lesson and explain which core requirements you met and how you employed the pedagogy. It came back with "Excellent work"s and "Astute"s. :)

I've been writing a lot. I calculated the other day and I've been averaging about 40,000 words a month. If I managed to just knuckle down on my novel I could have it done by the end of April! I'm just currently being lazy since I have to do a bunch of research before I go any further with it. (I'm still at 2,000 or so words). (Ps. I'm writing a novel!)

Another fun thing I'm up to: my roommate is in the Directing II class and for her final project she's directing a 30 minute version of Dr. Faustus (Marlow not Goethe). Since I'm currently taking a Stage Management class I'm gonna be her S.M./A.D./Co-Adapter. It should be really cool.

Anyways, I'm off to the store. But hey...I blogged.
